Independent Czechoslovak State Day and Dean’s Day /October 28-29/

Always celebrated on October 28th, the National Day of the Czech Republic is a public holiday in the Czech Republic. Also known as Foundation of the Independent Czechoslovak State Day, it commemorates the date in 1918 when Czechoslovakia was created.

On this day, there are no classes held. Also, on Friday, October 29th, the Deans of all the VSE faculties have announced a so-called Dean’s day, which means there are no classes held, either. The same applies to office hours which are cancelled.

Enjoy your days off and see you again on Monday, November 1st!
