Over 800 Fresh CEMS Graduates Head to the CEMS Annual Events in London
At the end of every year, CEMS Annual Events take place – a multi-day celebration of the CEMS Alliance member schools, at which fresh graduates of the CEMS programme are traditionally presented with their diplomas and school representatives receive awards for activities in which member schools compete. This year, the CEMS Annual Events 2023 occur between the 6th and the 10th of December in London, where the celebrations are hosted by the London School of Economics (LSE).
In total, more than 860 graduates from all 34 CEMS Alliance member schools will receive their diplomas in London. This year, 29 of them will be from the University of Economics in Prague. They will be accompanied by Vice-Rector for International Relations and former Rector of the University of Economics in Prague Hana Machková, who locally contributed to the programme development in the past, the Academic Director of CEMS in Prague Ladislav Tyll, and Šárka Otčenášková, CEMS Corporate Relations Manager.
Last year, the CEMS Annual Events 2022 were held in Cairo and Prague CEMS experienced the most successful year in the history of CEMS at Prague University of Economics and Business. (since 1998). CEMS Prague University of Economics and Business. representatives brought back three prestigious awards straight away:
- Best School of the Year 2022
- Global Strategy Course of the Year (taught by Academic Director Ladislav Tyll)
- CEMS Junior Alumni of the Year 2022 (CEMS VSE alumna 2019 Kate Zhuzha)
In 2021, the Prague CEMS won for the first time the Best CEMS Business Project run with the corporate partner ASAHI Europe & International, which was a part of the CEMS curriculum. “We are definitely in the running for best business project again this year,” says Tyll.
The main ceremony takes place on the 10th of December 2023 between 5:30 – 8 pm CET (4:30 – 7:00 pm GMT).
