The Bigger the Company, the More Detailed ESG Report: Interview with the Academic Director Ladislav Tyll /Podcast in Czech/
Yet again, CEMS VSE Academic Director Ladislav Tyll put in an appearance as guest at Romana Navarová’s Byznys Magazín with Radio Z. You can now listen to the interview in the form of a podcast (in Czech) where he talks about the latest study he and his colleagues Ivan Balogh and Natálie Badie from the Faculty of Business Administration released. It deals with the top 100 Czech companies (ČEZ, O2 or Škoda-auto included), their approach to ESG reporting and sustainability, and how they compare with companies abroad.
“We tried to find out whether it is true that the more women are in the management of companies, the more the topics of sustainability or gender balance make their way on the table,” he said in the interview.
In his words, the study suggests that, compared to foreign data, very few women are in top positions in the Czech Republic. While we are talking 24% of women abroad, we are talking 9% of women in managerial positions in our country.
