New Multi-factor Authentication When Logging into InSIS and Microsoft 365

The aim of multi-factor authentication is to significantly reduce the possibilities of misuse of login data in cases where the password is leaked – successful phishing, keyboard spoofing, accidental publication, e.g. during a screening at a class. Teachers, staff and students from the matric programmes will be required to enter the second factor from time to time. We do not need security at the level required by banks or the state – a second factor will be required when logging in from a new device or after a certain period of time (30-90 days).

The Informatics Centre VŠE prepared detailed instructions on how to set up two-factor authentication.
