Diploma Thesis by Tereza Kalendová awarded in ESOP contest

Every academic year the best students’ written works are awarded within the ESOP (excellent students’ research work) contest. This semester, a CEMS student Tereza Kalendová was awarded with her diploma thesis on “A Machine Learning Approach to Startup Success Prediction in the Context of Venture Capital Industry”, by which she extends the literature on predictive modelling in venture capital and shows that machine learning methods could support investment decisions of venture capitalists. Her thesis was supervised by Štěpán Bahník, Ph.D.
