CEMS VSE Student Matěj Lang in a Winning Team of Yale Africa Startup Review

CEMS VSE first-year student Matěj Lang spent his semester abroad at the National University of Singapore. During his stay, he won first place in a four-member team in a prestigious competition from Yale University – Yale Africa Startup Review, where young students act as pro-bono consultants and help FinTech startups in Africa with their problems.

The NUS Business School team consisted of Matěj Lang along with NUS CEMS MiM students Casper van den Berg, Nicolas Felder and Jean Jacques Perichon. It is the first time an NUS MSc student team has won the competition. The quartet joined some 100 selected students from institutes across the globe to partner with 30 start-ups from Africa to solve business challenges over six weeks.

You can read an article about their victory published on the official NUS website.
