CEMS Student Board Meeting – September/October 2021
The CEMS Student Board consists of elected representatives from each CEMS school. It serves a dual role by advocating for the students’ opinions, and managing projects on a global scale while supporting the CEMS Clubs. The Student Board meets three times a year, during spring and fall, and at the Annual Events to onboard new representatives, address various strategic topics and launch the new semester. This year, the Student Board Meeting Fall 2021 was held from September 26 to October 3rd, in a hybrid format online and at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE).
It was the first time the Student Board organized a hybrid meeting. This means, while part of the meeting took place virtually, the Student Board was finally able to get together again in person for their closing weekend after almost 2 years of no in-person meetings. This allowed all the hard-working, dedicated, and engaged Student Board Representatives to meet at last in Prague over the last weekend.
The CEMS Student Board would like to express its gratitude to the Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE) for hosting this very special first-of-a-kind hybrid SB Meeting. Gratitude is extended to the local CEMS Office including the Academic Director, Ladislav Tyll (featured in the photo) for their support in the organization.
During the week of meetings, the SBRs discussed current projects that are in the works, worked on creating an even stronger team spirit, and build friendships that will last a lifetime.
The Student Board is looking forward to furthering the work on the great variety of projects it is involved in and continue to advocate for the students’ voices within the CEMS Alliance.
