CEMS Student Ana Milena Montesdeoca Breilh Wins in ESOP 2023 Contest
Every academic year, the best students’ written works are awarded in the ESOP (excellent students’ research work) competition.
This time, the committee of the Research and Science Center evaluated the summer nominations for the Best Thesis and out of the submitted pieces, our CEMS student Ana Milena Montesdeoca Breilh came out as winner with her Master’s thesis “Investigation of the Relationship between Location and Success in Venture Capital Investments.”
In her work, she researched the relationship between location and the likelihood of a successful outcome of venture capital investments, investigating this relationship for the countries of Germany, Switzerland, Austria and The Netherlands, with the empirical results suggesting that the impact that location has on the probability of success of the startup as negligible.
- Her thesis was supervised by doc. Ing. Ondřej Dvouletý, Ph.D., MSc.
The best theses will be announced at the graduation ceremony, and the winners will receive a scholarship.
Congratulations from the whole Prague CEMS office!
