Don’t Miss the Application Deadline /April 30th/
Dear applicants,
be aware of the approaching 2nd intake deadline for the Master in International Management/CEMS programme which is on April 30th, 2021. By that date, you have to have filled out all the sections in your e-application (which have to be marked green for completed) and upload all the required documents (if you need to postpone your date for uploading English proficiency certificate, please, contact the Programme Coordinator Ms Cizkova to arrange individual details). Also, your application has to be paid for (50 EUR or 1.300 CZK) by that date.

HOW TO APPLY WITHIN THE 2nd INTAKE
- Submit the online application form to the CEMS MIM program. Applications will be accepted from March 1, 2025, to April 30, 2025. (Please note it is only possible to apply for one intake, not both, during one year).
- Pay the application fee €50. No application can be assessed until the fee has been paid.
- Please note it is not possible to apply within the 2nd intake if you have already participated in the 1st intake the very same year.
- Structured C.V. in English with a photo (max 2 A4 pages)
- Motivation video (maximum 3 minutes; please, write the video link at the end of your CV plus send the link to cemsmim@vse.cz ; ladislav.tyll@vse.cz)
- Up-to-date undergraduate transcript of records including total weighted study average and proof of having passed the following courses (please, highlight the required courses mentioned below):
- Economics (appx. 6 ECTS)
- Statistics ( appx. 6 ECTS)
- Management or Strategy (appx. 3 ECTS)
- Marketing (appx. 3 ECTS)
- Accounting (appx. 3 ECTS)
- Proof of English proficiency with one of the following certificates and minimum scores:
- TOEFL iBT minimum score – 100
- IELTS Academic/General minimum score – 7.0
- CPE minimum grade of C
- CAE minimum grade of B
- BEC Higher minimum grade of B
- A-level GCSE issued in Singapore
- TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test: a minimum score of 100 is required in the Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) with a score of at least 20 in each section. TOEFL “MyBestScore” is not accepted.
- Pearson test of English Academic (PTE) – minimum score 68
- Have a Bachelor’s diploma entirely taught in English from an English-speaking country, or in a CEMS or an EQUIS/AACSB accredited institution
- Any available second foreign language certifications such as confirmation of language study at the university or language school, language certificate (minimum level A1).
- Proof of the second foreign language can be submitted in a form of:
- passing a language course at the university (please, highlight in your Transcript)
- passing a language course at a commercial language school/institute (certificate)
- language certificate
- secondary-school leaving exam
- Bachelor’s diploma (if already applicable)
- Conclusive evidence of work experience listed in the C.V. (a copy of the contract, reference letter, etc.)
- Conclusive evidence of experience from abroad listed in the C.V., such as semester abroad, international internship, other work abroad, e.g. Work and Travel, any other long-term (appx. 2 weeks and more) stay abroad.
- Or other relevant supporting materials such as GMAT, photocopies of awards, achievements, certificates, volunteering or any other relevant documents if available.
There is no need to demonstrate an original or certified copy of the documents, an “ordinary” copy or a print screen (with visible name) is a sufficient alternative. These documents (in English, Czech or Slovak language, documents in other languages are not accepted) can all be uploaded online via the InSIS e-application form.
Please note that only document-supported evidence will be taken into consideration.
- Candidates’ application form and documentation will be pre-screened. Possible outcomes: accepted for the CEMS Assessment Centre or rejected.
- CEMS Assessment Centre takes place in May (1 day per each participant) and it is fully online. There are psychologists, members of the CEMS office, company representatives and appx. 5 students in each group. Students are assessed from many perspectives – how they work individually, in groups, their motivation, willingness to take risks, behaviour in stress situations, responsibility, flexibility, self-confidence and communication skills. Applicants also have to pass a written test on analytical thinking. There is no possibility to specifically prepare for our AC.
- Accepted candidates will be requested to confirm their commitment by paying a non-refundable deposit of €800 or to decline the offer. This deposit is deductible from the first-year tuition fee payment.
- Students, who meet all the admission requirements, i.e. passed the entrance exams and delivered all the required documents will be immediately enrolled as full-time students.
- Those who require any documents for a long-term study visa will be issued these documents straight after enrolment.
- The tuition fee of the International Management Programme amounts to €5,000 EUR per academic year (including the deposit). The fee is the same for EU as for non-EU students.
- Students always spend their first (Fall) or second (Spring) semester abroad and cannot interrupt their studies during their first year of studies.
