Nearly 600 New CEMS Graduates Head to Bergen for CEMS Annual Events 2024
At the end of each year, the CEMS Annual Events take place – a multi-day celebration of the CEMS Alliance member schools, where fresh graduates of the CEMS programme traditionally receive their diplomas and school representatives receive awards for activities in which member schools compete. This year, the CEMS Annual Events 2024 will take place between 4 and 7 December in Bergen, where the celebrations will be hosted by the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
The main ceremony will take place on 7 of December, 2024 between 4:30 – 7:00 pm CET.

In total, nearly 600 graduates from all 33 CEMS Alliance member schools will receive their diplomas in Bergen. This year, 9 of them will come from the Prague University of Economics and Business (from a total of 31 of our recent graduates). They will be accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Jiří Hnilica, CEMS Executive Board Member, Ladislav Tyll, CEMS Academic Director, Šárka Otčenášková, CEMS Corporate Relations Manager and Pavlína Köhlerová, CEMS Programme Manager.
Last year, at the CEMS Annual Events 2023 in London, the Prague University of Economics and Business won the CEMS Business Project of the Year 2023. The award went to the team of five CEMS students who had worked with corporate partner Škoda Auto to define its car subscription business model and implementation strategy.
In 2022, at the CEMS Annual Events 2022 in Cairo, CEMS Prague experienced the most successful year in the history of CEMS at the Prague University of Economics and Business (since 1998). Our representatives brought home three prestigious awards:
- Best School of the Year 2022
- Global Strategy Course of the Year (taught by Academic Director Ladislav Tyll)
- CEMS Junior Alumni of the Year 2022 (CEMS VSE Alumna 2019 Kate Zhuzha)
