The event is open to all undergraduate and master’s students globally and is held mostly online.

This March, Hack the Globe (HTG) returns with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, Johnson & Johnson, League of Innovators, Entrepreneur First, Georgian, World Food Programme, Médecins Sans Frontières Canada, and many other leading organizations.

HTG 2023 will be a hybrid event accessible entirely online with a chance to participate in-person at their Toronto and London offices!

Unlike traditional hackathons, multidisciplinary teams will have 2 weeks to scope a problem and formulate an idea for a tech-based social enterprise with the support of topic experts and a dedicated mentor from BCG. Over $4,000 in value is available in prizes, including cash rewards, donation credits, Microsoft Surface Laptops, and entry into startup accelerator programs.

No coding or prior hackathon experience necessary! Put your problem-solving, business acumen, and entrepreneurial spirit to the test!
