CEMS Prague Triumphs in Bergen and Wins the CEMS Best School of the Year 2023/24 Award

This year’s CEMS Annual Events 2024, held in Bergen, Norway, marked another great success for the CEMS MIM programme offered at the Faculty of Business Administration at the Prague University of Economics and Business. Based on a comprehensive student satisfaction survey and a vote by the academic directors of the CEMS schools, the programme has earned VSE the prestigious CEMS Best School of the Year 2023/24 Award!
During the CEMS MIM Graduation Ceremony 2024, the following categories were announced:
- Global Citizenship Seminar of the Year
- Global Strategy Course of the Year
- Global Leadership Course of the Year
- School of the Year
CEMS MIM Prague was successful in 3 categories out of 4:
- Best School of the Year 2023/24 – 1st place
- Global Strategy Course of the Year (for International Strategy taught by Academic Director Ladislav Tyll) – 1st place
- In the Global citizenship seminars category was nominated in the top 3 thanks to Daniela Pauknerová’s course
Another great news is that CEMS Club Prague has been awarded 2nd Best Club of the Winter Term 2023/24.
Representatives from CEMS Prague (the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Jiří Hnilica, CEMS Executive Board Member, Ladislav Tyll, CEMS Academic Director, Šárka Otčenášková, CEMS Corporate Relations Manager and Pavlína Köhlerová, CEMS Programme Manager) brought home a prestigious award recognising the quality of our programme and establishing its reputation within the global strategic network of 33 of the world’s leading business schools dedicated to educating and preparing future generations of international business leaders.
“We are very honoured to have won the Best School of the Year award again after two years. It proves that we are doing an excellent job, that CEMS Prague is developing in the right direction, that our students are satisfied with the curriculum and, most importantly, that they are successful in their careers,” says Ladislav Tyll, CEMS Academic Director.
The recognition is primarily proof that if students are looking for a quality international management education that stacks up against the foreign competition in the worldwide context, the Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE) is a great choice.

The admission procedure for the CEMS/MIM Programme at VSE offers 2 intakes, upon which selected students have to pass the assessment centre.
1st intake deadline is on February 28, 2025
2nd intake is subject to available spots, the deadline is on April 30, 2025
Prior to the application deadline, students have to submit the required documents.
