CEMS at VŠE
The Master’s Programme in International Management is a full-time two-year academic training programme for students at bachelor level with interests and career intentions in international companies and the international environment. The programme provides students with comprehensive business education in the fields of economics, management, finance, marketing, cross-cultural communication, and negotiations.
The Programme is organized by the Faculty of Business Administration and is fully run in English. The starting point of the Programme is CEMS MIM, covered mostly in the first year of studies. An indispensable part of the studies is a semester spent abroad at a CEMS Partner University.
After successful fulfilment of all conditions, the graduates receive a Czech master degree “Ing.” – an engineer.
Subject to all conditions of the International Management Programme and by participation in
- CEMS Block Seminar (held shortly before the first semester)
- Skill seminars (run continuously during the academic year)
- and 8-week internship practice (can be completed at any time during the graduate period of studies except the MIM year or after finishing the studies)
graduates receive, in addition to the Czech master title “Ing.”, an internationally recognized certificate of the CEMS MIM, Master in International Management.
International Management Programme provides its graduates with not only a high academic standard of knowledge but also with the acquisition of professional skills, thereby enhancing their competencies in international business activities. It helps create the prerequisites for building a successful career in a challenging international environment.
