Speed Networking Event Connects Students and Alumni for a Night of Insight, Inspiration, and Connection

On a lively evening filled with energy and ambition, 22 current students and 16 alumni came together for a special Speed Networking Event designed to build bridges between academic life and professional experience.

The event featured 9 rounds of speed networking, where students rotated from one alumnus to another in short, focused conversations. Each round brought new insights, from career advice and personal growth stories to practical tips on navigating the challenges of the professional world. It was a rare and valuable opportunity for students to engage directly with alumni who once stood in their shoes.

Beyond professional advice, the evening fostered genuine connection. Alumni shared not only their career journeys but also the lessons learned — both successes and setbacks — giving students a richer, more realistic picture of life after graduation.

After the formal networking portion, participants moved to a nearby pub to continue conversations in a more relaxed and informal atmosphere. This casual setting allowed for deeper discussions, new friendships, and continued mentorship opportunities.
