FBA’s Master in International Management/CEMS Lands 16th in 2024 MiM Ranking by Financial Times

September traditionally belongs to MIM ranking releases by the Financial Times. This year, in that “Financial Times Masters in Management 2024” ranking race, the Master in International Management (CEMS) programme taught in English at the Faculty of Business Administration made the TOP 20 list, ending 16th out of the top 100 Masters in Management Programmes. This achievement places Prague University of Economics and Business among the best business courses worldwide.

The first place was claimed by the Swiss University of St. Gallen. Second and third place were taken by French HEC Paris and Insead.

The Financial Times ranking methodology gives great weight to graduate salaries and their growth over time. According to the Financial Times survey, graduates of the Prague programme who graduated 3 years ago are currently earning an average of 91,300 USD per year, i.e. at the current exchange rate more than 171,000 CZK per month.

This placement reaffirms that Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE) offers a top-notch international management education that stands strong against foreign competition in the worldwide context. The quality alone is reflected in the fact that the VSE Programme was awarded the 2022 CEMS School of the Year.

“The consistently very good ranking and the very positive feedback from our former students is a valuable indicator that our efforts to create a global management elite in Prague are hitting the ground running,” says Ladislav Tyll, the academic director of the programme, who has been leading it since 2014.

Key features of the CEMS MIM program

What really tips the scales are a high level of teaching, where the program is not only constantly benchmarked by the CEMS alliance, close cooperation with selected corporate partners such as Hilti, Škoda Auto, Asahi or Plzeňský Prazdroj, but also international exposure because students must complete an internship abroad and spend one semester at a selected foreign university from the CEMS alliance.
