Scholarship regulations of the University of Economics, Prague

Scholarship for Semester Abroad

1. Erasmus

3 Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Macedonia, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia 300 €

2. Switzerland

Students going to Switzerland* will receive a grant  420 CHF/month (1 mobility = 5 months) from Swiss government in frame of Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP). Student has to apply for this grant according to information from partner university. In case that the Swiss grant counted to Euro and to exact number of days of the mobility (1 month = 30 days) is less than  500 € per month, the student will receive additional one-time grant from VSE, in order to equalize the grant.

3. Non-Erasmus (Overseas and Russia)

Students going to Russia, North and Latin America, Asia, Australia or New Zealand receive a grant from VSE Scholarship Fund.

  • The amount of the grant is 12 000 CZK per month (rounded up to half months).

Scholarship for Internship

1. Erasmus

After fulfilling the requirements, students receive financial support for a maximum of 8 weeks (2 months) of the internship. If the internship lasts longer, the student is for the remaining months classified as a “zero-grant” student.

The amount of grant varies according to the country of internship.

Countries are divided into 3 groups according to the cost of living and therefore the grant differs accordingly:

2. Non-Erasmum Intership (Russia, Switzerland, Overseas)

Students who plan to undergo their internship outside the EU may apply for a grant from VŠE´s Stipend fund. The grant is a fixed amount and makes 25 000 CZK (approx. 950 EUR).

Merit scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded to those students of the Faculty of Business Administration who will submit the "Scholarship Application Form"  and fulfill the following conditions:

  • they are students of the 3rd or 4th semester at the Faculty of Business Administration
  • they have gained at least 59 ECTS during the last two semesters
  • they have total average score for study at least 1.3 and better

The deadline for submission of the Scholarship application form is October xx, 2018 (the exact date will be announced later).
